English to Spanish Translation programs are available online as well as offline. There are certain Spanish translation websites where you can upload your original documents and get the translated document right away or through email after a specified time. On the other hand there are software which come equipped with electronic dictionaries, say Spanish and English dictionaries, for Spanish to English and English to Spanish translation. Such software essentially translates a document by replacing a word in the original language, say Spanish to a word in the targeted language, say English.

Automatic translation programs are not meant to substitute human translators. They are not yet advanced enough to authentically translate the grammar and other peculiarities associated with a language. That can only be done by qualified human translators. You can use Spanish translation programs for documents which are not highly technical in nature or highly literary, meaning that they do not involve a rich play of words which one can find in works of literature.
